SUNY Cobleskill went toe-to-toe with VTSU Johnson for more than 70 minutes on Sunday before the visitors broke through with two quick goals to take a 2–0 North Atlantic Conference result at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. After a scoreless first half, the Badgers struck at 71:56 through Soraya Dominguez (assist Jenna Jones) and doubled the lead at 73:42 on a finish by Olivia Davis (assist Maddie Power).

Samantha Fausti anchored the Fighting Tigers with seven saves helping keep the match level through a defensive first half. VTSU Johnson held a 17–1 edge in shots and a 7–0 advantage in corner kicks. The result moves Cobleskill to 1–10–0 (1–7–0 NAC), while VTSU Johnson improves to 7–3–4 (4–1–3 NAC).
The Tigers will be back in action Saturday, October 24th to face local rivals SUNY Delhi Broncos at 12 pm at the SUNY Cobleskill Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
