Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer program placed three student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team, as junior defender
Rob Staubitz (East Rockaway, NY), sophomore midfielder
Devon Zapatka (Oakville, CT), and sophomore defender
Andrew Rimes (Walden, NY) were each recognized for their excellence on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District Team honors the nation's top student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. To qualify, nominees must be at least a sophomore, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet specific participation and performance standards.
Rimes, a sophomore majoring in Agricultural Power Machinery, appeared and started in 17 games for the Fighting Tigers, contributing two goals and one assist from the back line. Zapatka, majoring in Agricultural Business Management, played in 13 games with 12 starts in the midfield, helping anchor Cobleskill's play in the center of the field. Staubitz, a junior captain majoring in Canine Training and Management, started all 17 contests for the Tigers and served as a key leader in the defensive unit.
The Fighting Tigers concluded the 2025 fall season with a 5-9-3 overall record and a 2-5-2 mark in conference play.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the top student-athletes across the country for combined academic and athletic achievement. Academic All-District® honorees advance to consideration on the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® selections to be announced on December 16 (men) and December 17 (women), 2025.
