Waterville, ME: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has recognized senior center Logan Thayne (Hoosick Falls, NY) as both the NAC Women's Basketball Player and Defensive Player of the Week. This marks the sixth time Thayne has earned Player of the Week honors and the second time she has been named Defensive Player of the Week.

Thayne was a force in both games this past weekend, helping the Fighting Tigers secure wins over VTSU-Johnson and VTSU-Lyndon with a well-rounded performances. She averaged 16.5 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, and four assists per game while shooting an efficient 54.2 percent from the field (13-24).

Against Johnson, Thayne delivered a dominant double-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and a steal, making an impact on both ends of the floor. She followed that up with a career-high six blocks against Lyndon, along with another double-double of 13 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists, anchoring the defense and controlling the boards.

The Fighting Tigers will be back in action on Friday, February 21, when they host #4 VTSU-Johnson in the NAC West Division Tournament Quarterfinals. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at Iorio Gymnasium.
