Cobleskill, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that women's soccer sophomore Alexa Siegel (Cornwall, NY) and men's golf sophomore Anthony Zysk (Little Falls, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending September 20, 2026.

Siegel turned in a career-best performance in the Tigers' 4-0 road victory over Mitchell College, scoring twice to help lead Cobleskill to its first road win since October 8, 2023. The two-goal performance marked the first multi-goal game of Siegel's collegiate career.

Zysk led the Fighting Tigers at the two-day Casler Masonry Utica University Invitational, finishing tied for 21st in the 35-player field with a two-round total of 165 (+23). The sophomore opened the tournament with an 80 (+9), sitting tied for 16th after the opening round. Zysk carded a birdie on the par-4 first hole and added nine pars during the round. He followed with an 85 (+14) in the final round, highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 10th and five pars.
