Troy, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team suffered a 67-36 loss to the Gators of Sage College in non-league action on Saturday. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 1-2 overall on the year while the Gators even their record at 2-2.
The Fighting Tigers were cold from the start trailing 39-10 at halftime as the visitors could manage only 5-of-25 from the floor, 20.0%, while also committing 18 turnovers in the period.

Sophomore guard/forward Shelby Preston, Ravena, N.Y., Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, posted her third double/double of the season in the loss with 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead Cobleskill statistically. Freshman guard Annette Hogan, Margaretville, N.Y., Margaretville High School, equaled her career high of 10 points in the contest.

The Orange & Black will return to action after Thanksgiving when they open their North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) schedule on Saturday December 5 when they travel to Keuka Park, N.Y. to face league rival Keuka College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
