Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill western equestrian team returned to action over the weekend as qualified riders traveled to Morrisville State for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 Individual Championships. The Fighting Tigers closed out the regular season a week earlier finishing in second place to the Mustangs in the regional team standings.

Cobleskill received a pair of second place finishes at the even from senior Baylee Reader, Utica, N.Y., Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, in Open Western Horsemanship and from senior Amanda Pelosi, Naugatuck, Conn., Nonnewaug High School, in Reigning.

Qualified Fighting Tiger riders will next be in action at the IHSA National Championships hosted by the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association at The New York State Fairgrounds Coliseum in Syracuse, N.Y. from Thursday May 2^nd thru Sunday May 5^th.
