Milton, N.Y.: Competing as individuals the SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team returned to action on Saturday morning at the 13
th Annual MSMC Knights Invitational hosted by Mount Saint Mary's College at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome.
Freshman
Jenna Swyers, Peru, N.Y., Peru High School, was the team's top finisher placing 15
th overall in a field of 67 runners at the event by covering the 6000-meter course in a time of 29:11.5. Junior
Lauren Wicks, Argyle, N.Y., Hartford High School, also competed at the event for the Orange & Black placing 61
st overall in a time of 42:09.1.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action when they travel to Springfield, Massachusetts on Saturday October 16 for the 2021 Western New England Invitational hosted by Western New England College on their campus course beginning at 11:00 a.m.
