Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named SUNY Cobleskill sophomore women's cross country runner
Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, NY) as its Runner of the Week for the period ending October 12, 2025.
It marks the first time Waite has earned the honor — and the first time in program history that a Cobleskill women's runner has received the award.
Waite led the Fighting Tigers to a first-place team finish at the 27th Annual Bronco Classic hosted by SUNY Delhi, capturing the first individual win of her collegiate career. Competing on the 5K course at the Delhi College Golf Course, she broke away early and never trailed, finishing in 19:56.7 — nearly 50 seconds ahead of the next runner. Her dominant performance anchored Cobleskill's strong team showing and continued her breakout season.
