Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team turned in a standout performance on Saturday morning, capturing first place in the white group at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College. The Fighting Tigers excelled over the 6K course, placing five runners inside the top 20.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, N.Y.) led the way with a runner-up finish, clocking 26:06.4 to pace the field.
Gillian Miner (Saranac, N.Y.) and sophomore
Madison Binette (Lewiston, Maine) packed in tightly, placing seventh and eighth with times of 27:21.3 and 27:24.2, respectively.
Alyssa Freeguard (Argyle, N.Y.) crossed in 17th at 28:32.7, just ahead of sophomore
Molly Repicky (Schoharie, N.Y.) in 18th at 28:36.6. Sophomore
Liz Vaughn (Chemung, N.Y.) added another top-20 finish, taking 20th in 29:01.8.
First-year
Isabella Baier (McKinney, Texas) rounded out Cobleskill's efforts with a 54th-place showing in 34:36.0, helping secure the team victory.
