Geneseo, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team closed the 2021 season Saturday at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championships hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National War Plane Museum.

Competing as an individual Fighting Tiger first-year runner Jenna Swyers, Peru, N.Y., Peru High School, placed 118th overall in the field of 142 runners by completing the 6000-meter course in a time of 28:59.1.
With the 2021 season now over Cobleskill Head Coach Mitch Tomaszkiewicz reflected on the completed season and the future.

"We are excited about the progress Jenna made this year given it was her first season running cross country and expect her to develop her abilities over the course of the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. We will also continue our recruiting efforts with the goal of building a roster that can contend for a North Athletic Conference title and return to the 2022 regional championships as a full squad. I believe that we have turned the corner and are going to move forward to attain these goals."
