SUNY Cobleskill Men's Indoor Track & Field Competes at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

Sullivan Sets Program Indoor Record in 5000-Meter Run at Boston University


Cobleskill, N.Y.: Members of the SUNY Cobleskill men's indoor track & field team competed at the 2022 Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Terriers Track & Tennis Center. Fighting Tiger athletes competed against athletes from all NCAA Divisions of competitions as well as professional and top amateur athletes from across the country.

Fighting Tiger first year distance runner Eamonn Sullivan, Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Fordham Preparatory School, turned in a program record setting effort in the 5000-Meter Run placing fourth in his heat and 39th overall among the 74 participants in the event with a program record setting effort of 15:07.91 while senior jumper Tyler Brado, St. Johnsville, N.Y., Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville High School, placed second overall in the high jump clearing a height of 6'7".

Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday February 19 when they travel to Ithaca, N.Y. for the 2022 Deneult Invitational hosted by Cornell University at the college's Barton Fieldhouse beginning at 9:00 a.m.
