Waterville, Maine: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team has been ranked seventh among the nine teams in the 2022 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Pre-Season Coaches Poll. The Fighting Tigers are coming off 2021 campaign that saw them post an 0-6 overall and conference record.

This year Cobleskill will feature a 20-player roster including 10 lettermen under the direction of first-year head coach Greg Valachovic. Among the returners the Fighting Tigers will bring back: 2021 NAC Rookie-of-the-Year sophomore midfielder Sean D'Amaro, Northport, N.Y., Northport High School, junior midfielder Giovanni Bevacqua, Newton, N.J., Newton High School, a Second Team All-NAC selection and junior attackman Kerry Blackwood, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School/Hudson Valley Community College, the team's 2021 NAC Sportsmanship Team.

The Fighting Tigers will open the season on Saturday February 26 when they travel to Aurora, N.Y. to meet The Express of Wells College in non-conference action beginning at 1:00 p.m.
