Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill senior pitcher Wyatt Palmer, Camden, N.Y., Camden High School/Cayuga Community College, has been named the NAC Pitcher-of-the-Week for the weekend ending Sunday April 9, 2023.

The Camden, N.Y. native and reigning 2022 NAC Pitcher-of-the-Year opened the league season in impressive fashion on Friday by posting a nine-inning 5-2 complete game victory over the visiting Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute allowing two unearned runs on eight hits while striking two and walking no one.    

Paced by Palmer's series opening effort the Fighting Tigers swept the visiting Wildcats to  improve to 8-10 overall on the year including a NAC Western Division leading record of 3-0.

Cobleskill is next scheduled to be in action on Tuesday April11 when they travel to Marcy, N.Y. for a NAC doubleheader versus the Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute beginning at 1:00 p.m.
