Cobleskill, N.Y.: D3 Baseball.com announced today that a pair of SUNY Cobleskill Baseball Team members senior pitcher Devin Lewis, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, and junior shortstop David Flora, Windsor, N.Y., Windsor High School/Herkimer Community College, have been named to the 2023 D3 Baseball.Com All-Region 1 Second Team.
The 2023 season marked the 11^th year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.
The talented duo let the Fighting Tigers to their third consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Western Division Championship with a 13-2 record in league play while posting the program record for most wins in a single season with a 22-15 overall record on the year.
 
This season Devin Lewis was named the 2023 NAC Pitcher-of-the-Year and a First Team NAC All-Western Division Team honoree after a season that saw him Lewis posted a 4-1 record in 12 appearances with a 2.96 earned run average in 48,2 innings of work with 53 strikeouts and only 10 walks while holding opposing hitters to a .216 batting average on the year.
 
For his efforts this year, David Flora was named the 2023 NAC Player-of-the-Yea and a First Team NAC All-Western Division honoree making the move from third base to shortstop with no effect on his offensive production as the Windsor, N.Y. native batted .403 going 48-for-119 at the plate with an on-base percentage of .503. During the campaign he racked up 12 doubles, a triple, six home runs, 10 stolen bases, 37 runs scored and 40 runs batted in with a slugging percentage of .672.
