Cobleskill, NY: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has named first-year goalkeeper
Samantha Rotundo (New Egypt, NJ) the NAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her standout performance in net against SUNY ESF on Saturday afternoon.
In her first game in goal this season, Rotundo was a bright spot for the Fighting Tigers, making a season-high 19 saves in a busy afternoon. Rotundo's performance included several impressive stops, keeping Cobleskill within striking distance of the hosts for much of the contest.
The Fighting Tigers return to action this Thursday, October 17, as they travel to Ramapo College for a non-conference clash starting at 4:00 p.m.
