Fighting Tiger Golfers Honored with NAC All-Conference Selections

Waterville, ME: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced that three members of the SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team have earned All-Conference honors for their performances during the 2024 fall season.

Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY) and Jacob Morris (Norwich, NY) were named to the Second Team All-Conference for their strong finishes at the 2024 NAC Championship, held on October 12-13 at Chicopee Country Club. House led the Fighting Tigers with an eighth place finish with rounds of 77 (+6) and 80 (+9), totaling a score of 157 (+15). Morris, making his postseason debut, finished ninth after carding rounds of 79 (+8) and 82 (+11) for a combined score of 161 (+19).

Head Coach Brock Ricketts praised both golfers for their dedication and leadership.

"Seeing how hard Josh and Jake work daily to improve their games is a real pleasure. Both of them are relentless in their efforts to become the best golfers they can be, and that commitment makes my job easier. Being named All-Conference reflects the type of person, leader, and golfer they both are. I couldn't be happier for them."

Isaac Walker (Roxbury, NY) also received conference recognition, earning a spot on the NAC All-Sportsmanship Team. This honor is awarded to individuals who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship and ethical conduct, positively influencing their team and community while upholding the values of the sport.

Coach Ricketts expressed his pride in Walker's achievement.

"Isaac's selection to the Sportsmanship Team is a tremendous honor. He's worked incredibly hard to reach this point, and seeing that hard work pay off is truly rewarding."
