Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team wrapped up day one of the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship in fourth place with a team score of 325 (+45) at the Cobleskill Golf and Country Club. The Fighting Tigers sit just five strokes back of third-place Lesley University (320/+40), while Husson University (301/+21) and SUNY Delhi (306/+26) lead the field heading into Sunday's final round.
Leading the way for Cobleskill was senior
Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY), who fired a steady 74 (+4) to finish the day tied for third overall, just three strokes behind the leader. House's round was highlighted by 12 pars and a birdie on the par-four ninth hole as he stayed consistent throughout the day.
James Longwell (Little Falls, NY) followed with a strong 82 (+12), placing him in a tie for 20th. Longwell posted five pars on the front nine before sinking a birdie on the par-three 17th to finish his round on a high note.
Bruno Groth (Andover, NJ) carded an 84 (+14) with eight pars to place 24th, while
Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, NY) followed closely behind with an 85 (+15), good for a tie at 25th.
Isaac Walker (Roxbury, NY) rounded out the Cobleskill scoring with a 90 (+20), recording six pars on the day.
The Fighting Tigers will look to make a move up the leaderboard when the NAC Championship concludes Sunday, with tee times beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Cobleskill Golf and Country Club.
