Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department honored
Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY) of the Fighting Tiger men's golf team as the 2025-26 Outstanding Senior Male Athlete of the Year during the department's annual Athletics Awards Ceremony held earlier this May.
The Outstanding Senior Male Athlete of the Year award is presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated exceptional athletic achievement, leadership and dedication throughout his Cobleskill career.
House capped off one of the most decorated careers in program history with another standout season for the Fighting Tigers. A four-time North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selection, House earned First Team All-NAC honors this season following a record-setting performance at the 2025 NAC Championship. He led Cobleskill with a fifth-place overall finish in the 39-player field, marking the best individual finish in program history at the NAC Championship.
House also added another tournament title to his career this season, firing a one-under-par 71 to claim medalist honors at the Keuka Invitational.
His senior-year success followed a historic junior campaign, when he was named the recipient of the 2024-25 Male Performance of the Year at the annual Athletics Awards Ceremony. House earned the honor after etching his name into the program record book on September 1, 2024, when he claimed the individual title at the SUNY Cobleskill Fall Invitational. The Saratoga Springs native topped a 35-player field with a program-record round of three-under-par 67, the lowest numerical score in team history.
Over his four years with the Fighting Tigers, House was named Second Team All-NAC in 2022, 2023 and 2024 before earning First Team honors in 2025. He also won three individual invitational titles during his Cobleskill career, leaving a lasting mark on the men's golf program.
House's consistency, leadership and record-setting performances made him one of the top golfers in program history and a deserving recipient of this year's Outstanding Senior Male Athlete of the Year award.
