SUNY Cobleskill Announces Appointment of Brock Ricketts as Interim Men's & Women's Golf Coach

Brock Ricketts Named Fighting Tigers Interim Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach


 
Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that Fighting Tiger assistant men's and women's golf coach Brock Ricketts will take over as the interim head golf coach of the program this spring. Ricketts will take over from head coach Megan Bowman who has headed the program for the past three seasons.
 
Ricketts was a four-year performer for the Fighting Tigers on the links and graduated with his bachelor's degree in financial services from the college in 2023. The Cherry Creek, N.Y. native is a 2018 graduate of Pine Valley High School and is also currently Cobleskill's assistant men's basketball coach after serving as one of the program's student assistants as an undergraduate.
 
This fall the Fighting Tiger men's program finished fifth overall in a field of 11 teams at the 2023 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Tournament while the women's team will compete this spring for the 2024 Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship to be hosted by the conference at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield Ct. on Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23.
