Waterville, ME: The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country dominated the first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) cross country weekly honors of the 2024 season, as sophomore Lilianna Peters and freshman Molly Repicky were named NAC Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
Peters, a native of Hinsdale, NY (Allegany-Limestone), captured first place at the Steven A. Warde Invitational, shattering the her own course record by more than 30 seconds with a time of 23:21.93. Her performance was three minutes faster than the second-place finisher, and she led the Fighting Tigers to a first-place team finish.
Freshman Molly Repicky (Schoharie, NY/Schoharie HS) also had an impressive performance, finishing third out of 38 runners with a time of 25:27.42. Repicky's strong showing was instrumental in securing the team's second victory of the season.
The Cobleskill women will return to action on Saturday, September 14th, when they head to SUNY Delhi for the NAC Preview Meet.
