Utica, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team put in a strong showing at the 2024 SUNY Poly Invitational held at Kanon Valley Country Club, finishing in fourth place with a team score of 333.
Leading the way for the Fighting Tigers was
Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY), who shot an impressive 73 to tie for first place. House's performance sent him to a playoff, where he narrowly missed the individual title after falling on the first hole to Utica's Adam Woodmansee.
Isaac Walker (Roxbury, NY) followed with a solid round of 84, tying for 13th place, while
Jacob Morris (Norwich, NY) posted an 86 to secure 17
th in an impressive outing. First-year
Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, NY) finished tied for 25th with a score of 90, and
Leo Rosenstadt (Westchester, NY/Scarsdale) rounded out Cobleskill's team with a 92, placing him 30th overall.
Cobleskill returns to action on October 13
th, as they travel to the Chicopee Country Club for the 2023 North Atlantic Conference Championships.
