Rome, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team battled through a demanding layout at the Hamilton Fall Invitational, finishing eighth overall at the 6,816-yard, par-72 Rome Country Club.

Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) paced the Fighting Tigers with a two-day total of +21, highlighted by steady play and timely birdies across both rounds. House carded an 82 (+10) on day one, sinking three birdies including back-to-back red numbers on holes seven and eight. He followed with an 83 (+11) on Sunday, again recording three birdies to lead Cobleskill's scorecard for the weekend.
Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, N.Y.) followed with a 39th-place finish, shooting a combined +31 for the tournament. Casola opened with an 87 (+15) on day one featuring eight pars, then added an 88 (+16) in the final round that included six more pars.
Bruno Groth (Andover, N.J.) was consistent throughout the weekend, posting back-to-back rounds of 88 (+16) for a +32 total and a 40th-place finish. Groth's opening round was capped by a birdie on the par-four 18th hole.
Isaac Walker (Roxbury, N.Y.) turned in a +36 finish after rounds of 89 (+17) and 91 (+19), highlighted by a birdie on day one and seven pars on day two.
James Longwell (Little Falls, N.Y.) rounded out the Cobleskill lineup with a two-day total of +43, improving from a 94 (+22) on day one to a 93 (+21) on the final round.
