New Haven, CT: The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team kicked off their spring season on Tuesday afternoon, competing against Albertus Magnus College at the New Haven Country Club. On a cold and windy day, the Tigers finished behind the Falcons in their first outing of the season.

Junior Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY) led the way for Cobleskill, carding a nine-over-par 80 to finish third overall. House's steady round included nine pars and a birdie despite the tough playing conditions.

Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, NY) followed with a solid round of 86, good for sixth place. Casola recorded seven pars as he navigated the par-71 layout. Isaac Walker (Roxbury, NY) finished eighth with a round of 96, while Bruno Groth (Andover, NJ/Newton) placed ninth after shooting a 104 on the challenging course.

The Tigers will be back in action on Sunday, April 13, for the opening round of the Sea Gull Invitational, hosted at the Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, Maryland.
