Waterville, ME – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has named SUNY Cobleskill first-year standout Avery Prievo (Camden, NY) the NAC Softball Rookie of the Week for the week ending May 4, 2025.

Prievo had a career week, helping the Tigers to a perfect 6-0 conference record with a dominant performance at the plate and in the field. She went 12-for-21 overall with 10 RBIs, six runs scored, four doubles, a triple, and her first collegiate home run—a grand slam—while starting every game in center field and recording nine putouts. In the four-game sweep of Johnson, she went 9-for-15 with eight RBIs, three doubles, a triple, and the grand slam that highlighted game four. She followed that effort by going 3-for-6 with two RBIs and a double in a sweep of Lyndon.

This marks the second time Prievo has earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors this season.
