Cobleskill, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill softball program placed two student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Softball Academic All-District Team as juniors Madelynn Orosz (Seymour, Conn.) and Aliyah Neeser (Forest Lake, Minn.) were recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the field.

The CSC Academic All-District Team honors student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet established participation and performance criteria.

Orosz, an Animal Science major, enjoyed a strong season in the circle for the Fighting Tigers. She posted a 4-2 record over 53.1 innings pitched while compiling a 3.68 earned run average and 18 strikeouts. Orosz allowed just 28 earned runs and issued only eight walks during the season. Away from competition, she serves as President of SUNY Cobleskill's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Neeser, also an Animal Science major, earned All-NAC First Team honors after turning in one of the top offensive seasons in the conference. She led the Tigers with a .376 batting average while posting a .481 on-base percentage, .550 slugging percentage, and a 1.031 OPS. Neeser finished the season with 41 hits, 31 runs scored, and 31 RBIs while leading the team with 11 doubles and four triples. She was also named to the NAC All-Tournament Team following her postseason performance.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
