Clinton, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team earned an eighth-place finish at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational on Saturday, competing in the 4K race against a strong field of regional programs.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, N.Y.) led the way for the Fighting Tigers, crossing the line in 41st place with a time of 15:56.8. Senior
Alyssa Freeguard (Argyle, N.Y.) added experience to the lineup with an 83rd-place finish in 17:19.8, while sophomore
Madison Binette (Lewiston, Maine) was close behind in 84th at 17:23.9.
The next Fighting Tigers to cross the line were sophomore
Molly Repicky (Schoharie, N.Y.) finishing 91st in 17:38.8, followed by sophomore
Liz Vaughn (Chemung, N.Y.) in 103rd with a time of 20:09.6. First-year runner
Isabella Baier (McKinney, Texas) crossed in 105th at 22:36.1, while sophomores
Ivy Stensland (Gilbertsville, N.Y.) and
Natalie Gardener (Interlaken, N.Y.) rounded out the team in 106th and 108th with times of 25:15.3 and 26:45.9, respectively.
