Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that junior Noah Palange (Pompton Lakes, NJ) and sophomore Gabriella Wendelken (Stuyvesant, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending March 8, 2026.

Wendelken delivered a dominant performance in the circle in the Tigers, tossing a complete-game seven innings while striking out nine batters. She kept hitters off balance throughout the outing, generating eight fly outs and four ground outs while controlling the tempo of the game and limiting scoring opportunities.

Palange had a career day in the Tigers' 11–8 season-opening win over Purchase College. The junior attackman exploded for a game-high five goals and an assist for six total points, finishing with 12 shots, including eight on target, while adding three ground balls and a caused turnover. He followed that performance with another goal against Mount Saint Mary College, finishing the week with six goals and an assist.
