Waterville, ME – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has named SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech freshman
Samantha Fausti (Clayton, WA) the NAC Softball Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 15, 2026.
Fausti turned in a strong week at the plate, producing consistent, quality at-bats to help keep the Tigers' offense rolling. The freshman hit an impressive .700 (7-for-10) across contests against Alfred State, La Roche University, Brooklyn College, and Drew University. She drove in three runs, drew six walks, and crossed the plate seven times while adding a double against Alfred State.
Defensively, Fausti was flawless in the field, recording 11 putouts and six assists, including turning a double play. She finished the week with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, showcasing her reliability on both sides of the game.
