Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that junior pitcher Reis Brammer (Cohoes, NY) and first-year hunt seat rider Faith Burfeindt (Millbrook, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending April 5, 2026.

Brammer turned in a dominant outing on the mound, tossing a complete-game shutout in the Tigers' 4-0 win. The junior went the distance, scattering just two hits over 9.0 innings while striking out nine and issuing only two walks. He worked efficiently through the lineup, generating 11 ground ball outs and six fly outs while facing just 31 batters in a commanding performance.

Burfeindt delivered a standout performance for the Cobleskill hunt seat team at the IHSA Zone 2 Championships, hosted at Leehman Farms in Rochester, NY. The first-year rider captured first place in Limit Flat, earning the title of Zone 2 Champion in the class and qualifying for the IHSA National Championships in Tryon, NC from May 1–3. She also added a sixth-place finish over fences, showcasing strong equitation and consistency throughout the day.
