Cobleskill Softball Has Five Earn All-NAC Recognition

Cobleskill, NY – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced its 2026 softball all-conference awards, with five SUNY Cobleskill players earning All-NAC recognition.

The Fighting Tigers placed three players on the All-NAC First Team, including outfielders Aliyah Neeser (Forest Lake, MN) and Avery Prievo (Camden, NY), along with first-year Sammy Fausti (Clayton, WA), who earned First Team honors as a utility/non-pitcher. Utility/pitcher Gabriella Wendelken (Stuyvesant, NY) and second baseman Kylie Rattigan (Poughkeepsie, NY) were named to the All-NAC Second Team.

Head Coach Morgan Flamholtz praised her team's recognition as a reflection of the program's growth and identity.

"It is amazing to have five players named to all-conference teams. I am glad their success and impact were recognized as much as we value them within our program. It speaks to the role they played in our success, as well as the culture, work ethic, and standard of excellence they've helped build."

Cobleskill's outfield duo of Neeser and Prievo was a constant presence at the top of the lineup, setting the tone offensively all season. Neeser led the Tigers at the plate, hitting .376 with a 1.031 OPS, .550 slugging percentage, and .481 on-base percentage. She totaled 41 hits, 31 runs, and 31 RBIs, while leading the team with 11 doubles and adding four triples.

Prievo added another consistent bat to the lineup, finishing with a .355 batting average, .829 OPS, and .449 slugging percentage. She led the team with 49 hits while contributing 29 runs, 22 RBIs, eight doubles, a triple, and a home run.

Fausti made an immediate impact in her first season, earning First Team honors for her versatility across the field. She totaled 42 hits and a team-high 41 runs scored, along with 21 RBIs, finishing with a .333 batting average, .864 OPS, and .475 on-base percentage. Her ability to produce in multiple roles made her a key piece of the Tigers' lineup.

"It is great to see Aliyah and Avery recognized as two of the top outfielders in the conference. This is their second year earning this honor, and it's well deserved. Their consistency and impact were felt all season. For Sammy, this recognition highlights her versatility and athleticism right away as a first-year. She made an impact in every aspect of the game, and I'm excited to see her continue to grow."

Rattigan provided steady production in the infield and in the middle of the lineup, earning Second Team honors. She led the Tigers with 34 RBIs while adding 38 hits, 30 runs, and 10 doubles, along with a triple and a home run. She finished the season with a .396 slugging percentage, .778 OPS, and .382 on-base percentage.

Wendelken was a true two-way contributor for the Tigers, impacting the game both in the circle and at the plate. Offensively, she recorded 28 hits, 23 RBIs, and 21 runs, along with nine doubles and a triple. In the circle, she led the Tigers' pitching staff with a 5-2 record in conference play and an 8-6 overall mark, posting a 1.96 ERA in NAC action. She struck out 32 batters while allowing just 11 earned runs over 39.1 innings.

"Kylie earned this recognition as a leader in our infield. She played nearly every inning at second base and was one of our most reliable players, executing her role in the lineup and doing whatever the team needed. Gabby led us both in the circle and on the field. Whether pitching or playing first, she made an impact. I'm excited to see how she continues to develop and lead our program."

Also earning recognition was sophomore Samantha Bargren (Wilmington, DE), who was named to the NAC Softball Sportsmanship Team. The honor recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate integrity and a positive impact on the game.

Neeser and Rattigan were also named to the NAC All-Tournament Team following strong postseason performances.
