Taegyn Hart (Hoosick Falls, NY) the NAC Softball Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending May 3, 2026.
Hart turned in an outstanding week at the plate, batting .696 with a .913 slugging percentage across 22 at-bats as Cobleskill went 6-1 overall and 6-0 in NAC play. She recorded 16 hits, including two doubles and a triple, drove in nine runs, and scored 13 times, consistently generating offense for the Tigers.
Hart also drew a walk, was hit by two pitches, and did not strike out, finishing the week with a .731 on-base percentage. She added a stolen base in one attempt.
Defensively, Hart was perfect in the field, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage with two putouts and four assists while contributing at third base.
