Cobleskill, NY – SUNY Cobleskill sophomore forward Alexa Siegel (Cornwall, NY) has been named the Spry State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week for the period ending September 27, 2026.

The honor is the first of Siegel's career and marks the first time in program history that a Cobleskill women's soccer player has earned a SUNYAC weekly award.

Siegel scored the game-winning goal in Cobleskill's 1-0 victory over SUNY Canton in the Tigers' SUNYAC opener. The goal, her third of the season, came with 11 minutes remaining in the first half when she collected a loose ball at the top of the box and placed her shot into the far corner.

Siegel finished the match with a team-high four shots, including three on target, as Cobleskill secured its first SUNYAC victory in program history.
