Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill and Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences men's soccer teams engaged in some marathon soccer on Thursday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers and visiting Spartans treated fans to a double overtime thriller at the Soccer/Lacrosse complex that saw the visitors come away with a 1-0 victory. The non-conference loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 3-9 overall on the season while the Spartans improve to 4-6-1 on the campaign.

The contest stood knotted 0-0 when in the 115th minute of play when Spartan Mina Ishak, Los Angeles, Calf., John Borroughs High School, scored on a blast from six yards out off a loose ball that bounced off a pair of Cobleskill defenders to decide the issue.

Fighting Tiger senior goalkeeper Steve Seelman, Verona, N.Y., Holy Cross Academy, was stellar in net for Cobleskill recording seven saves on the afternoon.
The Orange & Black will return to action after the college's fall break when they travel to Lancaster, Pa. on Friday October 17 to face the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action beginning at 6:00 p.m.
