Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team defeated the Gallaudet Bisons 2-1 in a NEAC contest on Saturday afternoon. Cobleskill moves to 3-7 on the year and gets their first NEAC win of the season, moving to 1-2. Gallaudet drops to 1-9 and 1-3 in NEAC play.
Cobleskill's first half pressure would lead to the first goal of the game by Freshman,
Moussa Bamba in the 33rd minute. The Fighting Tigers were able to tack on insurance goal in the 39th minute. Sophomore
Mame Amar, would set up Sophomore
Kalifala Konneh with a well placed shot into the back of the net. A late goal in the 2nd half by Gallaudet would cap off the scoring for the day.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on tomorrow, Sunday October 8
th when they host the Bison of Gallaudet University at the Soccer/Lax Complex with kick-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
