Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's indoor track & field team opened the semester on Saturday by posting a team score of three points to place 13^th in a field of 13 teams at the 2020 Utica College Open Invitational on Saturday at the Pioneers Todd & Jen Hutton Recreation Center.

In the short sprints, junior Alex Hitchcock, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, was impressive finishing seventh in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.29 seconds and eighth overall in the 400-meter dash in a time of 52.96 seconds.  Sophomore Dillion VanDemortel, Newark, N.Y., Newark High School, was also active at the event finishing ninth overall in the 5000-meter run in a time of 16:13.91.

The Orange & Black will return to Utica, N.Y. on Friday February 8^th and Saturday February 9^th  at the Blue and Orange Invitational hosted by Utica College at the Todd & Jen Hutton Recreation Center beginning at 10:00 a.m.
