Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill sophomore Zach Ducorsky, Oceanside, N.Y., Oceanside Senior High School, has been named the league's Baseball Co-Player-of-the-Week for the week ending April 30, 2023.

The centerfielder helped lead Cobleskill to three home wins in four games defeating the visiting Pioneers of Utica College 7-6 on Tuesday then beating the visiting Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta on Thursday afternoon 17-15 before splitting a pair of North Atlantic Conference (NAC) games on Saturday with the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton taking the opener by a 2-1 margin in extra innings before dropping the nightcap 6-4 to improve to 20-13 including a 13-2 record in conference play to claim their third consecutive NAC Western Division Championship.

The Oceanside, N.Y. native batted .800 on the week going 8-for-10 with a .847 on-base percentage including a double, eight stolen base, five runs scored and a run batted in.

On the season in 31 games, Ducorsky has batted .373 going 44-for-119 on the year with two doubles, two triples, 22 stolen bases, 41 runs scored, 16 runs batted in while posting an on-base percentage of .476 on the year.

The Fighting Tigers are tentatively scheduled to be in action on Wednesday May 3 when they host the Giants of Keystone College for a non-league contest at Fighting Tiger Field with first pitch scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
