Cobleskill, N.Y. – SUNY Cobleskill senior outfielder Logan Firment (Andes, N.Y./South Kortright) has been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Baseball Academic All-District Team.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in the classroom and in competition. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet established participation and performance criteria.

Firment, a Landscape Contracting major, is a regular member of the Dean's List and was recognized as the SUNY Cobleskill Senior Scholar Athlete for his excellence in the classroom.

On the field, Firment earned First Team All-NAC honors after helping lead the Fighting Tigers to another conference postseason appearance. The senior enjoyed one of the finest season of his career, batting .343 while posting a 1.071 OPS, .649 slugging percentage, and .422 on-base percentage. He finished the season with 46 hits, 35 RBIs, 10 doubles, seven home runs, and five triples while adding nine stolen bases.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and advance to the national ballot, where CSC members vote on the Academic All-America® teams. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 23.
