Potsdam, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill softball team closed their weekend road trip by losing a pair of games to the host Bears of SUNY Potsdam by identical scores of 8-0 and 8-0. With the losses the Fighting Tigers are now 4-8 overall on the year while the Bears even their record at 5-5 overall on the season.
In the first game the Bears scored eight runs over the first two innings to effectively put the game out of reach as Fighting Tiger hitters could manage only three hits in the contest.

Kailee DiGiacco, Spencerport, N.Y., Spencerport High School/Monroe Community College, went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles while senior first baseman
Alexis Miranda, Nashua, N.H., Nashua High School, was 1-for-2 with a single.
The second game played out much like the first game as the Bears scored five runs in their half of the second inning to take a 5-0 lead from which they never looked back as once again Fighting Tiger hitters could not solve Potsdam pitching which once again allowed Cobleskill only three hits.

Mackenzie Wendelken, Stuyvesant, N.Y., Ichabod Crane High School, was 1-for-2 with a double at the plate for the Fighting Tigers while first-year catcher
Gianna Guido, Clifton Park, N.Y., Shenendehowa High School, was 1-for-2 with a single. First-year second baseman
Kylie Rattigan, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Arlington High School, was also 1-for-2 with a single in the contest.
Cobleskill is next scheduled to return to action on Tuesday April 2 when they host the Spartans of Castleton University for a pair of non-league contests beginning at 3:00 p.m.
