Cobleskill, N.Y.: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill first-year pitcher Madelynn Orosz, Seymour, Ct., Nonnewaug High School, has NAC Pitcher-of-the-Week for the week ending April 14, 2024.

The Fighting Tiger first-year hurler threw three complete game victories during the week, including two seven inning shutout victories on the road versus conference rivals SUNY Canton and SUNY Delhi posting a 0.74 era in 19 innings of work to help the Fighting Tigers improve to 5-0 in NAC play.
 
On the season the Nonnewaug High School alumnus in 11 appearances including seven starts is 5-4 overall with seven complete games including two shutouts compiling a 4.01 ERA in 51.2 innings of work with 14 strikeouts while holding opposing hitters to a .274 batting average on the year to date.
 
The Fighting Tigers who are currently 9-10 overall on the season with a perfect 5-0 record in the NAC Western Division standings with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute will next be in action over the weekend when the host the Wildcats at Fighting Tiger Park for a three-game conference series with a single game on Friday April 19 starting at 3:00 p.m. following with a doubleheader on Saturday April 20 beginning at 12:00 p.m.
