Mackenzie Wendelken (Stuyvesant, NY/Ichabod Crane) and senior shortstop
Kailee DiGiacco (Spencerport, N.Y.) have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Softball Academic All-District Team.
The CSC Academic All-District Teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the field. To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and meet specific participation and performance criteria.
Wendelken recently earned dual degrees in Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Cybersecurity (B.T.). She was named the NAC Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year and earned First Team All-NAC honors after anchoring the team behind the plate and at the plate. She batted .376 on the season with 38 hits, 28 runs, 14 doubles, and 32 RBIs. Wendelken posted a .519 on-base percentage and a .515 slugging percentage while recording 98 putouts, 15 assists, and a .983 fielding percentage.
DiGiacco graduated this spring with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She appeared in 34 games, starting 31 of them at shortstop, and finished the year with a .349 batting average. She tallied 30 hits, 22 RBIs, six doubles, and three triples, while compiling a .488 slugging percentage and a .426 on-base percentage.
The Fighting Tigers wrapped up the 2025 season with a program-record 22 wins, finishing 22-12-1 overall and a perfect 12-0 in conference play. Cobleskill captured the NAC West Division regular-season title and placed second at the 2025 NAC Tournament.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize student-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics. Honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team selections to be announced on June 17, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs receive partial financial support from their respective NCAA governance structures, while the NAIA program is supported by the NAIA governance structure.
