Cobleskill Lands Three on NAC Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams

Waterville, ME: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams, with SUNY Cobleskill earning recognition for three players as voted on by the league's coaches.

Senior Albert Sippio (Syracuse, NY/ITC) was named to the All-NAC First Team after a versatile and impactful season, while sophomore attackman Alex Baker (Guilford, VT/Brattleboro Union) earned Second Team honors. Fellow sophomore Iain Patterson (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Passaic County Technical Institute) was named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team.

"It means everything to the program," said head coach Greg Valachovic. "I couldn't be prouder of these guys. They really stepped up this year and set the tone for where we're headed."

Sippio played nearly every position on the field and finished the season with a team-high 26 goals and three assists over nine games. He averaged 2.9 goals per game, shot .245 overall with a .566 shots-on-goal percentage, and collected 27 ground balls with 11 caused turnovers. He also went 27-for-76 on faceoffs, showing his all-around value between the lines. Sippio had three games with four goals.

"Sippio has been a huge piece for us the last four years," said Valachovic. "He's leaving the program better than he found it. He just gets out there and competes."

Baker delivered a breakout season at attack, recording career highs in every major category. He posted 19 goals and seven assists, picked up 24 ground balls, and caused five turnovers, starting all nine games. He had two four-goal games on the year.

"Baker's been one of the hardest workers on the team from day one," Valachovic said. "He's taken advantage of every chance to get better, and it's paying off."

Patterson was recognized for his leadership and sportsmanship on and off the field as a member of the NAC Sportsmanship Team.

"Patterson is beyond deserving," Valachovic said. "He'll run through a brick wall for his teammates. He represents everything you want in a student-athlete."
