Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team has secured a spot in the 2026 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Tournament, set for Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9 at Husson University's Dr. John Winkin Sports Complex in Bangor, Maine.
The Fighting Tigers enter the postseason as the No. 2 seed after finishing the regular season with a 16-8 record in NAC play and 19-19 overall. The 16 conference wins mark a program record, while the 19 overall victories are the team's highest total since 2023. Cobleskill has now qualified for the NAC Tournament in six consecutive seasons.
The four-team field features Husson University as the top seed after posting a 19-5 conference record (21-16 overall). Cobleskill follows as the No. 2 seed, with Thomas College earning the No. 3 spot at 14-10 in league play (18-19 overall). Vermont State University Lyndon rounds out the field as the No. 4 seed with a 12-12 NAC record (16-23 overall), clinching its first postseason berth since 2019.
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, with all games scheduled for nine innings.
The NAC champion will earn an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament, with regional play beginning Friday, May 15 at campus sites.
