The Schenectady native finished second in the Intermediate Flats event to earn Reserve Champion honors in the event at the 2023 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 Championships hosted by Skidmore College at the Van Lenep Riding Center on Saturday.

VanNostrand will now compete versus riders from the five other Zone 2 regions to qualify for the 2023 IHSA National Championships to be hosted by the IHSA from May 4 thru May 7 at the Alltech Arena Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
