Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that junior baseball player Cole Platt (Oneonta, NY) has been named the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 27, 2025.
Platt played a key role in powering the Cobleskill offense during the team’s weekend series split with Lesley University. In Sunday’s 18–3 win in game one, he went 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run, four RBIs, and three runs scored. Over the course of the series, Platt finished 5-for-13 with five runs scored, four RBIs, and one home run. He started each game at first base and recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
The home run was his team-leading fourth of the season.
