Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that junior pitcher
Jaydaci Chamberlain, Northborough, Mass., Norfork County Agricultural High School, a member of the softball team has been named the athletic program's Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending May 5, 2024.
The Fighting Tiger junior right-hander turned in a stellar effort in four starts during the week going 3-1 in games versus Russell Sage College and North Atlantic Conference (NAC) rival SUNY Morrisville posting three complete games with a 2.23 ERA in 22 innings of work striking out nine batters and walking only four.
On the year to date, the Norfork County Agricultural High School Alumnus has posted a 10-3 overall record in 17 appearances including 11 complete games in 13 starts with a 2.74 ERA including 33 strikeouts in 95 1/3 innings worked on the season to date.
Cobleskill is currently 19-15 overall on the season with an 11-3 record in NAC play which has earned them the number four seed for the upcoming NAC Softball Championship Tournament this weekend to be hosted by Husson University in Bangor, Maine on Thursday May 9. The Fighting Tigers will open the event by meeting the fifth seeded Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville beginning at 10:00 a.m.
