Box Score
Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team closed out the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday afternoon by dropping an 18-9 decision to North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia College at the Soccer/Lax Complex. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 3-10 overall with a 1-6 mark in league action while the Wildcats improve to 7-6 overall including a 5-2 record in NEAC play.

The issue was decided in the first half as the visitors jumped out to a 12-1 lead at the break and never looked back as the Fighting Tigers defense had little success stopping the Cazenovia offense early on in the contest.

Freshman attackman Hunter Purner, Glens Falls, N.Y., Christian Brothers Academy, delighted the home fans with an exceptional effort posting four goals and an assist in the contest which saw senior attackman Alex Acompora, Harrison, N.Y., Harrison High School, score a pair of goals and pass out an assist in his final home game.

The Orange & Black will close out the season on Saturday April 30 when they travel to Aurora, N.Y. to face The Express of Wells College in NEAC action with face-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
