Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team dropped a 20-4 decision to league leading Morrisville State College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Wednesday at the Soccer/Lax Complex. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 3-5 overall including a 0-3 mark in conference play while the Mustangs improve to 5-4 overall with a perfect 4-0 record in NEAC action.

Once again a slow start cost the Orange & Black as the home team fell behind 6-0 after the first period and 12-2 at the half as the Mustangs forced Cobleskill into 27 turnovers on the day while outshooting the home team by a 61-to-16 margin.

Sophomore attackman Garrett Vigrass, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School, scored twice for the Fighting Tigers on the afternoon while sophomore midfielder Sean Degnan, Monroe, N.Y., Monroe-Woodbury High School, added a goal and an assist.

Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday April 15 when they travel to Althol Springs, N.Y.to meet the Hawks of Hilbert College in NEAC play on the turf at St. Francis High School with face-off at 3:30 p.m.
